Zakaria Taha, PhD in Political Studies from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, is an Associate Professor of Arabic Civilization at the University Grenoble Alpes. His research focuses on contemporary political and religious dynamics in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on Syria. He is the head of CREO (Center for Oriental Research and Studies) at ILCEA4.
